David E. Smith

David is a PGA Director, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He manages client relationships.
David graduated from Husson College in 1981 with a B.S. in Public Accounting. Prior to joining PGA in 2020, David was a Founding Principal of Dawson, Smith, Purvis & Bassett, P.A., an accounting firm which merged with Marcum LLP. He was also a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.
David is a Director of the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.
David holds a CPA license issued by the Maine Board of Accountancy.
