Richard Strabley is responsible for fixed income selection at PGA. Prior to joining PGA, Rich was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley in New York specializing in international fixed income investments. Prior to that he was the manager of the international fixed income sales group for CS First Boston in New York. From 1986 to 1993 he was a member of the international fixed income desk at Lehman Brothers in New York. In addition to his duties at PGA, Rich is a director of the Portland Pirates Foundation and the president of Yarmouth Little League. He is a graduate of Hamilton College with a BA in Economics.
John B. Sullivan is responsible for asset allocation at PGA. Prior to founding PGA, J.B. was a Vice President of Lehman Brothers in New York. He worked at Lehman from 1989 to 1994, managing the firm’s money on a proprietary basis. Before working at Lehman, he was a proprietary trader in the Global Markets Group at Bankers Trust Company in New York. JB is a former trustee of the Maine Community Foundation and a current member and the former chairman of its investment committee. He is also a trustee of the Gulf of Maine Research Institute. J.B. is a graduate of Amherst College.
Jennifer Brown-Strabley is responsible for client services at Portland Global Advisors. From 1986 to 1994, Jennifer was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers responsible for fixed income and derivative product sales and marketing. Her account base consisted of large money managers, international hedge funds and governmental organizations in both the US and abroad. In addition to her role at PGA, Jennifer is a board member and coach for the Yarmouth Colts soccer program. Jennifer is a graduate of Hamilton College.
Drew Oestreicher is a relationship manager for PGA and responsible for client development. Prior to that he worked in New York City for the Chase Manhattan Private Bank and most recently was a Vice President of Investments at UBS PaineWebber in Portland, Maine. He is a graduate of Hamilton College. In addition to his duties at PGA, he is a trustee of North Yarmouth Academy and Maine Youth Leadership.
Derek C. Jaskulski is responsible for research and equity selection at PGA. Prior to joining PGA, Derek was a Vice President of Lehman Brothers in New York. Prior to that he was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo. From 1985 to 1989 he managed the foreign exchange department for Bankers Trust in Hong Kong. He is a graduate of Amherst College, holds an MA degree from Columbia University in Political Science and an MBA degree from Harvard University.
